Charlie

My mom's friend Sarah just had a baby! She was going to name him Eli, but then she realize he didn't look like an Eli, he looked like a Charlie!
He was asleep almost the whole time! Sarah took a nap in the other room so that she would have at least a little energy for the night ahead. Mean while, I got to hold the baby. We tried to keep him awake so that he would sleep a little longer at night. We half succeeded, but sometimes he would doze off and we would have to take his baby blanket off him so that he would get all cold and annoyed. He was such a little bundle of mush!!!I also had to get up and walk around so that he would stay awake. I did this little funny thing were I would step, but bend my knees so I was kind of jumping. B-E-A-C-H

After the track meet on Friday, I went to the beach with my mom. On Saturday, a few guests came.
Charlotte, Fabio, and  Matteo came with there parents Margie, and Jonas Kaufmann from  Munich, Germany!
Charlotte was the oldest, and her brother Fabio was 7. Tiny Matteo was 5. Matteo is the one with the flying disc in this picture. Fabio is sitting on the bench. He couldn't speak English, but he could understand it. Matteo was just crazy. And cute. Mom just wanted to take him home. Charlotte is pretty fluent with English. Any way, it was really fun to play with them.

Track Meet

On Friday, I had a big track meet. There was the 75 meter dash, the 200 meter (half the track), the 400 meter (one and 1/3 around the track), the 800 meter (two times around the track), the long-jump, and the shot-put.
I did the 400 meter and the shot-put. The 400 meter is harder then it looks. I was so numb after it, that I don't really know in which placement I got, but a friend told me that I got in 7th place. The shot-put is when you hold a weighted ball and you hold it between your neck and your chin. Then you throw it as hard as you can, and that is that.
My class had lunch at the track meet, and we had to settle for the floor since we weren't aloud to eat on the field or the bleachers.
Our school got 1st place in the 3rd grade boys and girls relay, and we got 2nd in the 5th grade boys and girls.

The track meet was all together fun, and even my mom enjoyed it!

YAHOO!!!!!

Don't forget, my birthday is in 2 weeks!!! Talking about birthdays, my aunt Andrea just had a baby girl named Paxton!

I guess the weather has lifted today in honor of the-one-and-only's birthday, because today it was 70 degrees F. Any of you guys have good weather?

       Now for the requests:
My acrobatics class- It is a class that teaches you how to do flips and stuff like that including handstands, and cart-wheels. Cart-wheels are my enemy. Every other class we do trapeze, rope climbing, and mini trampoline. The trapeze is only about 2 feet off the ground, so we can do fancy stuff. The mini trampoline is for helping us get into hand stands. The rope climbing gets our muscles strong to help us kick into hand stands from multiple positions.

Good night, sleep tight, and don't let the cart-wheels bite!

HELLO

Hey fellow blog mates!

I know, I know I haven't been posting enough latelty. This is because I have been.... not exactly busy, but the school stuff takes up most of my time. This is my schedule,

                                                                                                            I know, right!
Monday- School 8:50-3:10, go home, do homework, watch project runway^, go to bed
Tuesday- School 8:50-3:10, track, eat with mom at Kitchenette, go home, Us weekly(sometimes), bed
Wednesday-School 8:50-3:10, math coach, go home, homework, go to bed
Thursday- School 8:50-3:10, acrobatics class, go home, homework, go to bed
Friday- School 8:50-3:10, go home, homework, go to bed

Don't you see?! School takes up most of my time these days. Extra science homework doesn't help. But you know, I could have been blogging when I have been reading really bad and cheesy magazines, and watching TV shows. That is bad on my part.

And heres one thing for the people reading this,
CAN YOU PLEASE COMMENT ON MY STUFF!!!!
I probably will blog more if I know what to blog about! No pressure...
             See you guys next time,

VAY-CAY land

Tonight is the second night at the beach house! I keep forgeting that it is still winter and it is really cold outside. Then i come back to my senses and go down to the supplies cabinet to get some more wood for the fire. I'm in my P.J's until we gots to go to the strip mall and get some awesome new stuff. Mom made some killer skirt steak with potatoes. And that is when my brain stopped thinking. I have finally entered VAY-CAY  land. A.K.A.winter break.

Opera

Today I went to the opera with my mom. She was working at Mannes. I got to sleep in though. Then we went to the opera. I brought tons of stuff, thinking that I would get bored. But the opera was anything but boring! When we got there, I got to see my mom put wigs on  actors! I also got to see our friend Natalie put different kinds of make-up on them. Then, when all of the actors were on stage, Natalie did my hair! She also taught me how to blend make-up to get different colors. After all three acts were finished, we packed up and got ready to leave, and now we are ordering pizza!

I hope everyone is great!

days and days and days! (of catching up!)

This is a little update on what has been happening...
First of all, I am back at the school schedule and it feels like I have been at it for months now! Second of all, it has been sooooo cold! [if you haven't noticed!] Third of all, Mom's birthday is coming up! This is quite exciting, since I have been planning and wrapping... I will tell you all once the date has rolled over. I can't write it now or she might check and see this blog! That wouldn't be good would it...
                                                   Bye for now!                        Marlon
